Is anyone aware of evidence to support the assertion that vaccines, and in particluar the flu vaccine can cause T1D?

I have been asked and i can't find any credible source to support this, only personal bloggs and anecdotal stories.

I get several diabetes journals and have never read about any connection between T1 and vaccinations. I would be concerned if people with diabetes chose not to get vaccinated because of unsubstantiated "evidence".
