Are any of you involved in providing insulin pump therapy for those on Medicare?  If so, would you contact me personally.  I'm involved in reviewing documentation for settings up guidelines for medical necessity and would like to discuss the use in patient's with GDM.

I'm confused here.  Medicare only pays for pumps in people with documented Type 1 diabetes and a low C-Peptide level.  How does this apply to people with gestational diabetes?  Totally different age range here.  Did you mean Medicaid???
