Dr. Wade Farrow, M.D. is the Medical Director of the Texas Wound and Lymphedema Center in Bryan, Texas. In this lecture, he offers his expertise on the proper diagnosis and management of lymphedema as it pertains to the podiatrist. Dr. Farrow educates the listener about this often misdiagnosed and mistreated pathology. Particular emphasis is placed on the importance of such treatment modalities as manual lymphatic drainage and compression therapy. Lymphatic anatomy and lymphedema pathophysiology are reviewed as well.
