Dr McGuire discusses the use of MIRE for treatment of diabetic peripheral neuropathy. He reviews the various etiological theories, treatment options, and complications, leading to the use of new light therapy technology. The role of nitric oxide in various body functions and it’s application to diabetic neuropathy is discussed in detail. Dr McGuire reviews the pertinent evidence-based literature to support the clinical efficacy of this treatment modality.
